Our 6-hectare vineyard is where our wine story begins. We grow a variety of grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and more, using methods that are kind to the earth. This care helps us make every bottle special.
At DUKA Winery, our vineyards yield an exquisite selection of wines, each capturing the essence of Albania’s rich viticultural heritage. Our range includes the bold and complex Cabernet Sauvignon, the smooth and sophisticated Merlot, and the lively Tempranilo, each reflecting the unique characteristics of our sun-kissed grapes. We also take pride in producing Shesh i Bardhe, a local favorite known for its light and refreshing taste. Our special blends, such as the Rose Tempranilo and the Reserva Superiore – a masterful combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tempranilo – showcase the versatility and depth of our winemaking skills. Alongside these wines, our meticulously crafted Raki, available in two distinct grades, offers a taste of traditional Albanian spirit. Reserva Superiore is produced from the best selection of the 15th Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Merlot grapes grown in our vineyards. The wine is matured in oak barrels produced from the Tronçais forests in France.
‘Shesh i Bardhë’ wine is produced from the autochthonous Albanian grape variety of Shesh i Bardhe vineyard. The vinification process is carried out at a controlled temperature and the entire production system is certified with the iso safety standard iso 22000. It is advisable to accompany it with cooking of fish, seafood, fresh cheeses.
DUKA Reserva is produced from the best selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Merlot grape varieties cultivated in the vineyards of Duka winery. The wine is ripe in the French oak barricade.
Has dense ruby purple shades. It is a kind wine expressed with fine various aromas where blueberries, mint, herbs and flowers of violets are mostly tasted. The wine is dry, fresh, delicious, warm and with balanced body. It is suggested to taste it with fresh sausages, pastries in the oven with vegetables red meat ember.
A clear wine with a dense and full ruby colour. Fragrances are expressed and diverse, prevails the dry apple, raspberry and blueberry. The taste is dry, tannic, delicious and very stable. It’s advised to be accompanied with matured sausages, red meat on the coals, and lamb in the oven with vegetables.
Deep ruby coloured wine. It is well expressed in aroma and is quite varied and fine where most notably are plums, mint, and aroma of violets. The taste is dry, fresh, and quite tannic, with body and a long backtaste. It is advisable to be accompanied by grilled beef dishes, wild birds and matured cheeses.
